Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, Miss Universe Philippines 2015 is crowned the winner at the conclusion of The 2015 MISS UNIVERSE® Telecast airing live from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on FOX Sunday, December 20.
It wouldn’t be Miss Universe without a little controversy, and Steve Harvey’s misread of a card and the mistaken crowning of Miss Colombia sure fits the bill. The question most have in their mind isn’t if Philippines is the actual winner, but was it an error or just another Miss Universe stunt to get attention?

When Donald Trump sold the organization, so many people told me at long last the organization was “rid” of that “embarrassment.” Not sure that turned out the way they thought.
We’re sure to learn more in the weeks to come, but in any event, let’s congratulate the lovely new titleholder, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, Miss Universe Philippines 2015, who really showed great poise in a stupid situation.
